Burmese Stone Monks with Offering Bowls
The sculptures were damaged when they fell in an earthquake.
The pieces were puzzled into place then glued back together. After drilling with diamond core bits, high-density polyethylene dowels were used to reinforce repairs to the necks. Lost material was reconstructed with custom tinted and bulked thermoplastic resin that is both easily reversible and has tested long-term light and color stability.
